What an impressive debut full length this is! The Amenta present you
with an extremely well performed mix of death, black, noise and industrial.
The vocals remind me a bit of Vader and that`s the only thing I can
compare anything by the Amenta with, because these Aussies have invented
their own unique style of extreme metal.
The production of this album is done by Lachlan Mitchel of cult black
metallers Nazxul. He has created a full, warm yet very powerfull sound
which fits the music perfectly Songs like Nihil, Zero, Occasus and Erebus
are all incredible, just as the other tracks. The only thing I don`t
like is the Dimmu Borgir alike appearance of these guys, maybe I`m too
old fashoned for that.
This album breathes out a special atmosphere which feels a bit like
Aeturnus` dark style. Intense guitars are blended with excellent drums
and bass and eerie keys to create Occasus.
An album that gets better every time you listen to it, there is so much
to be discovered, such sites to be explored.
Buy this one, if you don`t like it, stop listening to music
.
